Hi Cosmic Explorer!
Same coffee order. Same weekend plans. Same “I’ll try it someday.”
There’s nothing wrong with loving your routine. But have you started saying “that’s just who I am” about something you secretly want to change?
This week, let’s look at the astrology of staying put, starting over, and giving yourself permission to try.

THE COMFORT ERA
Your sign’s relationship with change
In astrology, the zodiac’s three modalities describe different approaches to movement: cardinal signs initiate, fixed signs sustain, and mutable signs adapt.
🌿 Cardinal signs: Aries, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn
Starting something may feel easier than staying with the awkward beginner stage. Your comfort zone could be the excitement of a fresh start.
Your stretch: Keep one small promise to a project after the initial excitement fades.
💬 Fixed signs: Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, Aquarius
Consistency is your astrological strength. But a familiar role, habit, or opinion can become difficult to reconsider.
Your stretch: Experiment with doing one familiar thing differently. You can test a change without committing forever.
🌙 Mutable signs: Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, Pisces
Adaptability is your territory. Yet keeping every option open can become its own comfortable routine.
Your stretch: Choose one possibility and give it your attention long enough to learn something.

Borrow a little Saturn and Jupiter
Astrologically, Saturn represents structure and limits, while Jupiter represents exploration and expansion.
Try using both as prompts this week:
Jupiter asks: “What would I love to explore?”
Saturn asks: “What time and space can I realistically give it?”
Perhaps you want to learn tarot, take a pottery class, or share your creative work.
Choose a first step that fits your life: one lesson, one booking, one post.
What is your Moon holding onto?
Your Moon sign is associated with emotional needs and familiar ways of finding comfort.
Through that lens, a routine might offer reassurance, belonging, privacy, or a sense of control.
Before changing it, ask: “What does this habit give me, and could I meet that need another way?”
If you always decline invitations because you value downtime, try a short coffee instead of an entire evening out.
Make the experiment small enough that you actually want to try it.

Be honest: What’s your comfort-zone habit?
Manifestation Corner: Make room for something new
Write this at the top of a page:
“I’m ready to explore…”
Finish the sentence without worrying about whether you’ll be good at it. Then answer:
What interests me about this?
What am I afraid might happen?
What small step can I take this week?
Let your intention guide an action you can choose.
This week’s affirmation:
“I can appreciate what feels familiar and still make room for something new.”

A little encouragement beyond astrology
In his TEDx talk, “Growth Only Comes Out of Your Comfort Zone,” entrepreneur Kuda Biza explores the value of stepping beyond the familiar.

Today’s waxing crescent Moon in Sagittarius offers a theme of curiosity and exploration. The Sun in Libra forms a sextile with Jupiter in Leo, traditionally associated with optimism and growth, while Venus retrograde in Scorpio invites reflection on relationships and values.
